Encountering God afresh at Mt Murud

I still could not believe that I managed to climb up and down Mt Murud safely and happily! Climbing is not my thing. I have tried Grampians Trail and Kokoda Track 1000 steps, but I did not reach the top. (I did reach the top of Mt Sinai however!) So I was really surprised that when Judith invited me to join her to climb Mt Murud, I only struggled for a few days before making up my mind. Praying and committing my heart to go to encounter God afresh was my preparation for the trip.

During the climb, praying for strength when I was tired and praising Him with songs when I had overcome obstacles was all I did the whole journey. God has led and guided me all the way. No word of complaint or grumble. This is so unlike me!!

God has sent many angels to help me. Those who prayed for me, those who encouraged me along the way, those who lend helping hands, those who talked, laughed and walked with me, and all my fellow pilgrims with whom I share this amazing journey. Thank you all. All glory to my Almighty God.
